Oregon School Nurses Association celebrates their Award Winners: School Nurses and Partners that work to advance the professional practice of School Nursing!

Starting December 2024, the Oregon School Nurses Association is seeking nominations for the 2025 Oregon School Nurse or School Nurse Administrator of the Year award. Nominations must be received by OSNA by Friday, January 31st, 2025 to be considered for this prestigious award. The award(s) winner(s) will be showcased in a surprise celebration at the Oregon School Nurses Association Spring Conference, on Thursday April 17th, 2025.

Please review and share the 2025 School Nurse Of the Year Nomination Letter with fellow administrators, school nurses and school leaders, to ensure your nurses are recognized for their dedication and hard work. The Nomination Request Letter also contains the scoring rubric and details on how submissions are reviewed.

The selection committee will evaluate a nurse's performance in 5 key areas*:

Standards of Practice,
Care Coordination,
Leadership,
Quality Improvement, and
Community and Public Health.
