Building the School Nurse's Tool Kit
April 18 & 19, 2019
Please join the Oregon School Nurses Association (OSNA) for this school nursing specific professional development opportunity. Professional development is imperative to stay current in the nursing specialty of school nursing. Conference opportunities which address topics from the unique perspective of the school nurse provide diagnosis specific content knowledge along with important information about how to manage specific conditions in the school setting.
Topics addressed will include an update on cardiology, the use of CBD oil for seizure disorders, school safety and the role of the school nurse, vector borne disease, and type I diabetes.
Each day will start with the opportunity for a walk on the beach and morning yoga, and weather permitting, participants will enjoy a bonfire and s'mores. In addition to topic sessions, plenty of time is built in for networking with colleagues and exhibitors.
