OSNA Online Workshop: Social Determinants and Student Acuity Strategies

Facilitators: Wendy Niskanen, Jan Olson, and Corinna Brower
This workshop is designed to increase the RN’s confidence in their ability to assess and report student acuity levels, with emphasis on nursing process and social determinants of health. The workshop will include presentations, small-group discussions, and case studies.
This continuing nursing education activity was approved by Oregon Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Approval valid through 05/15/2022. OCEAN ID #2020-15.
This workshop was originally planned as part of the OSNA 2020 Spring Conference titled “Building Capacity: Identifying Risks and Fostering Resilience.” It has been modified to a virtual format, in keeping with state-wide physical distancing efforts.
