Oregon School Nurse Orientation (In-person)

IN-PERSON School Nurse Orientation Friday Oct 25^th, 2024, 09:00 AM Pacific Time in Pendleton (InterMountain ESD). Workshop is 7 hours (9 to 4) with option to remain for post-workshop discussion. The in-person workshop has food.

Oregon School Nurse Orientation Workshops are facilitated by OHA State School Nurse Consultant, Corinna Brower, and ODE School Health Services Specialist, Ely Sanders, in partnership with Oregon School Nurses’ Association. The sessions provide an overview of the role of school nurse in Oregon schools, including general duties, applicable regulations, and useful resources. Includes time for Q&A and opportunity to build connections with nurses from around the state.

We can offer interested learners 4 to 8 contact hours; specific follow-up activities are required. More information is provided during the sessions.
