OSBHA (Oregon School Based Health Alliance) and GLSEN Oregon (Gay, Lesbian, & Straight Education Network) have partnered to create a trainingSafe and Healthy Schools – Mental Health Supports for LGBTQ+ Students, for school health providers in the state of Oregon to reduce suicidal ideation and attempts by LGBTQI+ youth. During this 3-hour training, we will cover LBGTQI+ identity and how it intersects with mental health, and how school health providers can support and affirm the experience of LGBTQI+ youth. The training will be co-facilitated by a GLSEN Oregon representative and two LGBTQI+ youth facilitators.

Join us on April 14th from 10 am to 1 pm for this informational and interactive training. To register, please use the link below. For more information or questions, please contact Patti Zavala at patti@osbha.org.
