DESCRIPTION: This is an online workshop for nurses serving Oregon schools during the coronavirus pandemic. It includes presentations, discussions, and question-and-answer panels facilitated by OSNA school nurse leaders and OHA's State School Nurse Consultant.

 

For the month of August 2020, discussion will focus on OSNA's COVID-19 Toolkit, school re-opening resources aligned with Oregon's Ready Schools, Safe Learners guidance.

Thursday, August 6h, 3pm-5pm

Friday, August 7th, 8am-10am

CNE CREDIT AVAILABLE: This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by Oregon Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Approval valid through 07/30/2022. OCEAN ID #2020-18

  • The learner will receive full workshop credit (3.0 hours) upon completion of pre- and post-evaluations for each of four workshop components. These components consist of

o            Live Event: 90-minute online session including participation in discussion (1.5 hours CNE credit)

o           Enduring Material: 3 self-directed online modules (30 minutes each, up to 1.5 hours CNE credit)       

CNE certificates will be issued once per calendar month. If, by the end of the calendar month, the learner has not completed all components, partial-credit certificates will be issued.
