Join the Oregon Public Health Association for our 2018 Capitol Visit Day! You'll learn about public health related bills that the legislature is working on and how those bills are faring. OPHA will schedule legislative appointments for each person registered so you'll have the opportunity to share your views with your legislator in the Oregon Senate and House.

When: Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 9:00 am - 1:30 pm, check in and networking open at 8:00 am
Where: Oregon State Capitol, Salem, Hearing Room 50. Check in at the Galleria on the main floor.

Registration is required so that we can schedule appointments with your Oregon Senator and Representative and meet space requirements.  Space is limited for this event, so register today!

If you are employed by a government agency you are allowed to participate in OPHA Capitol Visit Day as a private citizen, however you may need to use personal time. Check with your supervisor as needed.  

Legislative Appointments: The availability of representatives and senators is subject to change during the session, therefore appointments are not guaranteed. We will do our best to schedule appointments for those who have registered before February 23, 2018

Join OPHA and our Health Policy & Advocacy Committee. The committee examines current Oregon public policy issues and makes recommendation to the OPHA Board of Directors about how OPHA should get involved. The committee facilitates OPHA members' advocacy efforts and works with public health partners in Oregon to advance public health policy.
