Agenda:

We are working on finalizing some of our speakers but here are some of the topics that will be covered:
Non-violent communication skills;
Psychosocial needs of student with diabetes, hemophilia, LGBQT, and eating disorders;
How to identify students with violent or suicidal tendencies early;
YogaCalm for us and our students;
Immunization Medical Exempt update – what it means for us and parents;
and more!

Goals:

The goal of this conference is to provide the school nurse with the tools they will need to help meet the psychosocial needs of students with various medical conditions and to learn ways to improve communication and relaxation skills. The conference planning committee chose this location because of its beauty and our recognized need to reconnect with nature and each other.

You will have the opportunity to share some of your knowledge and skills with the group. We hope you will take this opportunity to recharge with us!
